Announcing Professor Ralf Bader

Dr. Bader is a fellow of Merton College, Oxford, and an associate professor in the philosophy department at the University of Oxford.
Dr. Bader has a B.A. in philosophy, politics and economics from St Edmund Hall, Oxford, and an M.Litt. and Ph.D. from the University of St Andrews. His research focuses on ethics, theory of politics, value theory, contemporary metaphysics, and Kant scholarship. Prior to moving to Oxford, Dr. Bader was assistant professor in the philosophy department at New York University.
He authored a book on the philosophical thought of philosopher Robert Nozick, in which he guides readers through Nozick’s work Anarchy, State and Utopia. The book both summarises and bolsters Nozick’s original.
Dr. Bader has also contributed to other books, including the Oxford Handbook of Freedom, The Oxford Handbook of Value Theory, Kant's Critique of Pure Reason, and many others.
